WFU celebrates inclusive excellence

The Office of Diversity (ODI) and Inclusion is pleased to announce the R.I.D.E. Departmental Classifications for the 2023-2024 year.

The Realizing Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Framework guides inclusive excellence at Wake Forest, which represents an intentional and collaborative investment in maximizing learning and institutional engagement.

ODI acknowledges the deep and meaningful work of offices campuswide that have documented their inclusive excellence work through the bi-annual R.I.D.E survey process. Out of 87 departments completing the R.I.D.E. survey in 2023-2024, five received special designation.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching, the School of Business and the Wake the Arts Center were recognized with the R.I.D.E Explorer award.

The Department of Physics and the Office of the Chaplain were recognized with the R.I.D.E Innovator award.
