Wake Forest University named a ‘Best Midsize Employer’ by Forbes

Wake Forest University placed No. 30 on Forbes’ list of 2024 Best Midsize Employers. Wake Forest was one of three companies from North Carolina that ranked in the top 50.

Forbes surveyed more than 170,000 U.S.-based workers at American companies in partnership with market research firm Statista to compile their Best Employers list of 1,000 organizations. Four hundred of those were midsize employers.

This year marked a change in Forbes’ scoring, as it weighed data from the past three years to highlight employers who have rated well consistently over time, in addition to survey responses given by current employees, employees who had worked for the company within the past two years, and individuals familiar with the company through friends, family or peers in their industry.

Wake Forest previously ranked as the top employer in North Carolina in Forbes’ 2022 list of America’s Best Employers by State.
