Faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the retirement of Vice President Emily Neese on Thursday, Dec. 14 from 3-5 p.m. at The Barn in Reynolda Village.

Formal remarks will begin at 4 p.m.

Shuttle service will be provided to and from The Barn for guests on the Reynolda and UCC campuses. Shuttles will make loops every 15 minutes from each location from 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Emily Neese, a 1981 Wake Forest graduate, returned to her alma mater in 2006. With an immense portfolio of work – at different times spanning fiscal stewardship, innovation, planning, and risk management – Emily made a significant impact in several critical areas of University business operations, including the successful launch of the Wake Will capital campaign, the Sustaining Wake Forest initiative, campus master planning, and the University’s operational response to the pandemic.
