New Student Convocation to be held on Aug. 25

Wake Forest faculty are invited to attend the University’s New Student Convocation on Friday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m. in Wait Chapel.

New Student Convocation celebrates our students’ entry into the Wake Forest community and is an opportunity to come together to celebrate shared values of academic excellence, ethics and integrity, and Pro Humanitate.

Those who plan to join the academic procession should register online by Monday, Aug 21. Faculty dress in regalia to honor Wake Forest’s centuries-old academic traditions. Those who need to borrow regalia can request it when registering.

Regalia pick-up will take place on Thursday, Aug. 24th, between 2-3:30 p.m. in the Green Room on the first floor of Reynolda Hall.

Processing faculty should meet before New Student Convocation (Aug. 25) at 3:45 p.m. in front of Zick’s on Hearn Plaza.
