Wake Forest University staff are invited to the annual Staff Appreciation Picnic tomorrow, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Manchester Plaza. The picnic, hosted by the Staff Advisory Council, celebrates the hard work and dedication of staff across campus. Colleagues can expect food stations, games, caricature artists and therapy dogs. President Susan Wente and Vice President Shea Kidd Brown will share a few words with attendees at noon.

Shuttles will be operating between 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on a continuous loop from the following locations:

  • University Corporate Center (UCC)
  • Human Resources House
  • Reynolda Village (by directory)
  • Bridger Field House
  • Graylyn (behind Manor House)

Colleagues are also invited to participate in a book drive to support Freedom School, a literacy-based summer program for rising third through eighth-grade students. View the Bookmarks wishlist and order online with code WFU 2022 for a discount. (The discount code is valid through June 11.)
