Good wears black when Wake Foresters honor our Pro Humanitate motto. As part of the inauguration festivities for President Susan R. Wente, the University’s Office of Civic and Community Engagement is hosting various service opportunities for the campus community on Wednesday, March 23.

Volunteer your time with kit-packing parties to benefit children, women and families of the Winston-Salem community. Kit-packing parties provide meals for the Forsyth Backpack Program, education kits for Cooks Literacy Model School and hygiene kits for the Period Project.

As of today, March 11, there are 106 volunteer spots in need of filling. There are multiple shifts and registration closes 12 hours prior to the start of each shift.
