Student Life Committee seeks applicants and nominations for 2021-22 Student Trustee

The Wake Forest University Student Life Committee is seeking applicants and nominations for the Student Trustee position on the 2021 – 2022 Board of Trustees.

Wake Forest University seal with dark circle and white text that says "Student Trustee"The Student Trustee position is open to all rising, full-time junior and senior students (i.e., current sophomores and juniors) at Wake Forest University who are not on academic or social probation. The selection process will take place during spring semester 2021. The new Student Trustee will be finalized at the Board of Trustees’ April meeting and will begin their term at the summer 2021 meeting, or at the first meeting of the fall semester 2021.

When identifying candidates, the Student Life Committee considers many factors including:

  1. a nominee’s experience and success in-and-outside of the classroom
  2. a clear vision of what constitutes the Wake Forest University community, and
  3. a desire to make positive change within the Wake Forest University community

Student Trustee Applications

Applications for the Student Trustee position must be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Student Trustee Nominations

The Student Life committee also encourages all members of the University community to nominate students for the role of Student Trustee on the 2021-22 Board of Trustees. All nominees will be informed of their nomination and asked to consider submitting an application. Nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021.
