This is a guest post from the Office of Wellbeing:

As a part of the Thrive Initiative, the Office of Wellbeing has opened up nominations for its annual “Thrive Dimension Champion” Awards for faculty and staff for 2018-2019.

Each day, many members of our Wake Forest community demonstrate their commitment to individual and community wellbeing across the eight dimensions: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual.

“The Office of Wellbeing has the privilege of leading Thrive, Wake Forest University’s comprehensive approach to wellbeing, but the foundation for this initiative is deeply rooted in the scholarship and actions of faculty and staff across this campus. They are the living examples of meaningful, purposeful lives that make the Wake Forest experience,” says Malika Roman Isler, director of wellbeing.

This is an opportunity to nominate a friend or colleague to be recognized for their role in making Wake Forest exceptional.

Thrive Dimension Champions for 2018-2019 will be announced formally at the Thrive Dimension Champion Awards ceremony on April 23, which will include President Nathan Hatch and Vice President Penny Rue. All nominees will receive a Thrive Swag Bag containing Wake Forest and Thrive paraphernalia and a framed Dimension Champion certificate. Winners will additionally receive campus-wide recognition and a Thrive Dimension Champion trophy for display.

A form to nominate someone for the award is available here.
