Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State University are partnering again to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with events during the holiday weekend.  The celebration marks the longest running partnership between the universities.

Events will take place on both campuses, with the first occurring on Jan. 19 when Wake Forest hosts the 10th annual 2019 MLK Day of Service Read-In, which will include a reading activity for children ages 5-11.

On Jan. 21 at Winston-Salem State, CNN political commentator Angela Rye will deliver the keynote speech.  Also on that day, at Wake Forest, an invitation-only banquet will be held.
