Tree removal on Wake Forest Road to disrupt traffic

Traffic on Wake Forest Road, between the Reynolda Road campus entrance and the Porter Byrum Welcome Center, will be disrupted on Dec. 21 while a large, dead tree is removed.

A crane and other equipment will be used to take down and remove the tree starting around 8 a.m. on Dec. 21.

At times during the day, traffic entering and leaving campus through the Reynolda Road entrance will be stopped briefly.
