Jacqueline Travisano named as one of Triad Business Journal’s 2026 C-Suite Award winners

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jackie Travisano was recently named to the Triad Business Journal’s 2026 C-Suite Award winners.

Presented annually, the Triad Business Journal’s C-Suite Awards recognize outstanding chief executives and C-level leaders in the Greater Greensboro and Winston-Salem regions who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, corporate financial success, and a commitment to their community. Honorees span private, public, and nonprofit sectors, sharing a common distinction: guiding their organizations through complex challenges while helping shape the economic future of the Piedmont Triad.

Honorees were selected from a competitive pool of nominees across the region, and an award celebration took place on July 16 to honor this year’s winners.

Since joining Wake Forest University in August 2023, Travisano has provided strategic and operational leadership across the University’s financial and physical infrastructure. She oversees Finance and Administration’s wide portfolio, which includes Facilities, Real Estate, & Planning, Finance, Hospitality & Auxiliary Services, Human Resources, Information Systems, and Sustainability. As a dynamic executive and civic leader, Travisano’s work ensures the University remains financially resilient while continuing to grow its regional economic footprint.

Travisano noted that this recognition reflects the collaborative effort of the entire Wake Forest community.

“Receiving this recognition is an honor, and it is ultimately a testament to the dedicated team we have here at Wake Forest. Managing the financial health and future of a major university is a deeply collaborative effort. This award wouldn’t be possible without everyone on our team who works hard to turn those big visions into reality,” said Travisano.

Travisano holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University, an MBA from Chatham University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
