A message from President Peter Rodriguez on his first day

Today marks the official first day for Dr. Peter Rodriguez as the 15th president of Wake Forest University. In a message sent to the campus community, Dr. Rodriguez shared his excitement about joining the university after transitioning from his previous role as a dean at Rice University.

In his introductory message, he emphasized his desire to get to know the community, introduced his family, and touched upon upcoming priorities, including the search for Wake Forest’s next provost.
