2026 Disability Champion Awards recipients announced
The Wake Forest Disability Support Group, led by faculty chair Elena Pedigo Clark and staff chair Eudora Struble, has announced the winners of the 2026 Disability Champion Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions and service to the disability community across Wake Forest.
These awards highlight departments and individuals who have made significant efforts to raise awareness of disability issues or to provide practical help and support to the disability community on campus. In recognition of their actions, the awardees will receive certificates of appreciation, books related to disability and inclusion, and tote bags.
The recipients of the 2026 Disability Champion awards are:
- Carol Cramer, Head of Collection Management, Resource Services – ZSR Library
- Anna Hawryluk, Director of Campus Planning – Facilities, Real Estate, and Planning
- Paul Whitener, Associate Director of Digital Fabrication & Maker Education, The WakerSpace – Academic Technology – IS
- Lynne Yengulalp, Associate Teaching Professor, Department of Mathematics
- WFU School of Business
- Center for Learning, Access, and Student Success (CLASS) staff
