T-CART Grants to support faculty exploration of technology
Wake Forest faculty are invited to apply for the 2026 T-CART (Technology engaged Creative Activity, Research, and Teaching) Grant Program, offered by the Office of the Provost and Information Systems.
The program supports projects that examine how emerging and established technologies can strengthen teaching, research, and creative work. Faculty may apply through the STEP (Summer Technology Exploration Program), which focuses on software and digital tools, or through the WakerSpace Faculty Fellow Grant, which centers on hands-on work with WakerSpace equipment and course integration.
Funding includes a $2,500 summer stipend for nine-month faculty or $1,000 in professional development funds for twelve-month faculty, along with up to $1,000 in project expenses. Each project includes a designated technical specialist from Information Systems, ZSR Library, or the Instructional Technology Group.
Applications close on Friday, March 27, with awards announced on April 10. Recipients will share their work at TechX, the annual Information Systems Technology conference.
