Upcoming meeting

The November Staff Advisory Council meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The meeting, open to all staff, will include the following topics:

• Presidential Search Listening Session with Mark Petersen, Senior Vice President, University Advancement; Jeanne Whitman Bobbitt, Chair of the Board of Trustees and C0-Chair of the Presidential Search Committee; and Joi Hayes-Scott of Russell Reynolds Associates
• Updates on:
  • Chaplain’s Emergency Fund and Lovefeast with Chris Donald, University Chaplain
  • Employee Wellbeing Week with Dana Lopez, Associate Director of Programs, Campus Recreation
  • First in the Forest Directory with Cat Novakovich, First in the Forest Advisor

The Staff Advisory Council encourages all staff to attend this meeting if possible, as this is an opportunity for staff to offer feedback on what we should look for in our next president.

For those unable to attend, the event will be recorded and posted on the Staff Advisory Council website.

Food drive and volunteer opportunities

The SAC also invites you to join a critical mission this holiday season: fighting food insecurity across the Triad and Charlotte regions by supporting the Second Harvest Foodbank: between November 17 and December 19, please drop off non-perishable food items at the designated collection points in the following buildings: Charlotte Center, Farrell Hall, HS Moore, Reynolda Hall, UCC, Wake Downtown, and Worrell Professional Center.
