Transparency in action: The annual COI commitment

Each year, all full-time faculty and staff complete their COI Training and Disclosure.  This annual disclosure process helps us proactively identify, evaluate, and manage any potential conflicts. By bringing these situations to light, we can ensure all business decisions are made objectively and ethically – which protects the integrity of our faculty and staff and the reputation of our university community.

On Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, all full-time faculty and staff will receive two communications.

• The first, from wfu@myworkday.com, will include a link to required Workday COI training.
• The second, from noreply@coi-smart.com, will include a link to the annual COI disclosure questionnaire.

Please note, these emails are not spam or a phishing scheme.

Individuals will have until Dec. 17, 2025, to complete both requirements. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Compliance Services at COI@wfu.edu.
