Staff member Kyle Buchanan has passed away

Kyle Buchanan passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Kyle was a security guard at Graylyn and served the University for six years. 

“Kyle was a valued member of our team, known for his dedication, reliability, and quiet strength during the overnight hours when most of us were home with our families,” said Mark McFetridge, assistant general manager at Graylyn. “For those who knew him personally, his presence and professionalism made a lasting impact.”

The Wake Forest community extends our condolences to Kyle’s family and friends.
