Former staff member Ross Griffith has passed away

The University recently learned that former staff member Ross Griffith passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. Ross served Wake Forest for 47 years, retiring in 2014 as director of institutional research. Throughout his time with the University, Ross held various roles, including in admissions and administration/planning.   

The Wake Forest community extends our condolences to Ross’s family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at First Baptist on Fifth at 11:00 a.m. An obituary can be found here.
