Former staff member Tommy Murphy has passed away

The University recently learned that former staff member Tommy Murphy passed away on Monday, April 28th, 2025. Tommy served Wake Forest for more than 29 years, retiring in January 2024 as an instructional technologist in College Academic Computing.

The Wake Forest community extends our condolences to Tommy’s family and friends.
