Celebrate East Asia flyer

The Lam Museum of Anthropology will hold a Celebrate East Asia Open House on Saturday, April 12, from 1-4 p.m. The event will celebrate the cultures of China, Japan, and Korea through music, dance, food, crafts, and activities for all ages.

Performances will include the Wake Forest Chinese Ensemble playing traditional Chinese instruments, two fan dances from the Wen Hua Chinese School, and traditional Korean drumming from K Joy Nanta. Korean BBQ and fusion food will be available for purchase from the Bulkogi food truck.

Visitors will also be able to explore the exhibit Poems Made to Wear: Traditional Colors in East Asia as well as East Asian objects in Museum of World Cultures: Highlights from the UNC-Wilmington Collection.  Admission is free.

This event is cosponsored by the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures and the East Asian Studies Minor.
