“For the third year, we are thrilled to present the Gladding Authors, Editors, and Artists Faculty Awards, honoring Dr. Samuel T. Gladding’s enduring legacy and celebrating the remarkable creative and scholarly contributions of our faculty,” said Chris Zaluski, Wake the Arts Center co-director. “This year’s award recipients—Professor Marie-Amélie George and Assistant Professor Larry Weng—have created work that not only enriches our academic community but also resonates far beyond our campus, inspiring future generations.”

The Gladding Authors, Editors, and Artists Faculty Award is presented annually to two Wake Forest University faculty members who have produced outstanding creative work within the prior year. The $1,000 award is for one visual or performing artist and one author. The award was established by Counseling Professor Samuel T. Gladding shortly before his passing.
