SACSCOC and faculty rosters

As part of our 2026 SACSCOC reaffirmation of accreditation report, the University must demonstrate that all courses in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 terms are taught by qualified instructors (SACSCOC Standard 6.2.a). For many instructors, this standard will be met through the confirmation of a terminal degree in the relevant field(s) of teaching. Some instructors may need to provide additional information such as specific, related graduate coursework, a record of publication or creative work in the relevant field, or other professional experiences, competencies, or achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes. When the Dean’s office for the College or School where you teach shares their process for confirming instructor credentials relevant to the courses taught, please respond in as timely a manner as possible.
