Congratulations to the 367 faculty and staff members who celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2024. Together they have collectively served nearly 5,000 years at Wake Forest University.

Communication professor Mike Hazen and education professor Linda Nielsen were recognized as this year’s longest-serving faculty honorees. Both have spent 50 years educating Wake Forest students.

Associate Vice President of Family Engagement Minta McNally (’74, P’02, ’06) was recognized as the longest-serving staff honoree, with 45 years of committed service to the Wake Forest community.

New this year, faculty and staff were invited to donate the value of their milestone gift to the Chaplain’s Emergency Fund. Honorees contributed more than $3,000 to assist members of the Wake Forest University community facing unexpected challenges.
