Miller Center construction updates

A message from Facilities and Campus Services

In January, contractors placed scaffolding on the northeast corner of the Miller Center (second-floor terrace overlooking the track) ahead of planned maintenance. Infrastructure work and repairs to the brick veneer are now underway outside of the Miller Center. 

Scaffolding will remain in place until the project is completed in summer 2024. The stairs to the terrace and second-floor entry to the Miller Center are closed and will remain closed until work is completed.

Renovations to improve the second floor of the Miller Center are also underway and expected to be completed by January 2024. 

During construction…

• The ramp to the Miller Center along the track will remain open.
• An entrance with overhead protection is in place at the first-floor entry facing Manchester Athletic Center and Pruitt Football Center.
