A message from Wake Forest University Police

During the month of  October, University police, police officers and security officers will be donning pink badges as a powerful symbol of support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Breast cancer touches the lives of many in our community, and WFUPD stands with Wake Forest to raise awareness and show support for those affected.

We encourage faculty, staff and students to learn more about breast cancer and the work being done to combat it. Valuable information and resources can be found on the Susan G. Komen website.

Early detection of breast cancer matters. Routine mammography saves lives, but all too often women and men in our community postpone or forego this important screening. Let’s unite in this meaningful effort to support breast cancer awareness and research. Together, we can make a difference.
