Faculty proposals funded

Patricia Clayton, associate professor of engineering, whose proposal “Empowering Engineering Scholar-Activists through Community-driven Research Experience” has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the University of Texas at Austin.

Sarah Esstman, associate professor of biology, whose proposal “Rotavirus Genome Replication and Virion Assembly” has been funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Elham Ghadiri, assistant professor of chemistry, whose proposal “CAREER” “CAS” Broadband UV-NIR Ultrafast Photochemistry Imaged in Space and Time” has been funded by the National Science Foundation.

Walter Rejeski, professor of health and exercise science, whose proposals “Healthy Aging & Later-Life Outcomes – Pilot (HALLO-P)” and “Pepper Older Americans Independence Center and Coordinating Center: Clinical Research Core” have been funded by the National Institutes of Health and WFU Health Sciences.
