George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States and Presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jon Meacham will share the stage for an exclusive conversation on our nation’s challenges.

This ticketed event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Lawrence Joel Veteran Memorial Coliseum (LJVM) at 7 p.m. Doors close at 6:30 p.m.

Wake Forest University faculty, staff, students and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist employees are eligible to request one free ticket on the day of the event by presenting their Wake Forest ID Card at the Bridger Field House Ticketing Office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or at the LJVM Box Office between 5 and 6 p.m. Tickets will also be available for pick up before or after the student-only event with Jon Meacham at Wait Chapel. Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis while supplies last on the day of the event. Shuttles for Wake Forest faculty, staff and students will be available from Manchester Plaza to and from the LJVM Coliseum starting at 4:30 p.m. Those who wish to park at LJVM Coliseum for this event may purchase a parking pass for $10. Parking passes are available at the ticketing office or online.

Faculty and staff are also welcome to attend a special free event to be held on Sept. 14 in Wait Chapel at 4:30 p.m. Students from WFU’s School of Business will moderate a Q&A discussion with Jon Meachum. Wake Forest University students and students from all Winston-Salem area schools are invited to attend this special Face to Face hosted student event at no cost.

The community-facing Face to Face Speaker Forum brings world-renowned, influential voices to Winston-Salem to discuss topics in a variety of areas including politics, arts and culture, business and social justice.

This Face to Face Speaker Forum is presented by Wake Forest University’s Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character.
