Network upgrades will happen in some campus buildings on June 21

On Tuesday June 21, between 5 p.m. and midnight, Information Systems will perform routine maintenance in some campus buildings. During this time, it may not be possible to access the wired and wireless networks, the phone system and printing capabilities for a very short period of time.

The following buildings may be impacted during the maintenance window:

  • Kirby Hall
  • Greene Hall
  • Carswell Hall
  • Miller Center
  • Shah Basketball Complex
  • McCreary Field House
  • Winston Hall
  • Salem Hall
  • Reynolda House Museum
  • Reynolda Village locations
  • West Chiller Plant
  • Huffman Residence Hall
  • Kitchin Residence Hall
  • Poteat Residence Hall
  • Magnolia Residence Hall
  • Dogwood Residence Hall
  • Farrell Hall
  • North Dining Hall
  • WakerSpace

This significant effort is part of a long-term plan to ensure that Wake Forest’s infrastructure is fully updated and supported by the manufacturer and that the University keeps pace with the rapid evolution of technology.
