Aaron named American College Health Association Fellow

Headshot of Darren Aaron, Student Health Service associate director and Wake Forest EMS advisorDarren Aaron has been named a Fellow with the American College Health Association (ACHA). The award was presented at this year’s annual ACHA conference in San Diego.

Aaron is director of finance and operations for Wake Forest’s Health and Wellbeing Consortium. In this role, he works with Student Health Service, the WFU Counseling Center, the Center for Learning, Access and Student Success, the Chaplain’s office, campus recreation and the Office of Wellbeing.

Aaron has served on the ACHA board since 2019 and was elected vice president in 2021.

ACHA represents over 700 institutions of higher education and the collective health and wellness needs of 20 million college students. The organization serves over 8,500 individual college health and wellness professionals and leaders of all disciplines.
