Staff Advisory Council meeting: Thursday, April 21

The next Staff Advisory Council (SAC) meeting will be held Thursday, April 21, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. An email with a Save to Calendar and Zoom link was emailed to staff Tuesday, April 19. Email Elizabeth Dam-Regier (damregej@wfu.edu) if you need assistance on how to join the meeting.

Topics will include:

WFU 2023 Medical Plan Transition: Matthew Grau, Fringe Benefits Committee chair, will provide an update on the transition process to a new medical plan for WFU employees.

Davis Field Road Project and Shuttle Hub Project: Karen Hart Huey, senior director, planning and construction for Facilities and Campus Services, will provide an update on the Davis Field road project and the Poteat shuttle stop expansion.

University Ombuds Office: Jill Crainshaw, university ombuds and professor of worship and liturgical theology, will share information about what the Ombuds Office offers staff and faculty.

New SAC Website: Elizabeth Dam-Regier, communications committee chair, will present the new Staff Advisory Council website.

Vote Results on Proposed Amendment to SAC By-Laws: The SAC executive team will share an update about the recent vote on a proposed amendment to the Divisions of SAC from their current definition in our by-laws.
