WFU former staff members pass away

We are saddened to announce that retired staff members Randy MacDonald and Jean Reader have passed away.

Ranald “Randy” Alexander MacDonald passed away on December 6 after complications from Covid-19. He was 78. Mr. MacDonald was a communications officer with the University Police Department for 18 years. He retired in 2013.

Jean Reader passed away on December 12 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ms. Reader worked as Circulation Desk Supervisor at the School of Law Professional Center Library for 14 years. She was 69.

The Wake Forest community extends our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. MacDonald and Ms. Reader, as well as to those who had the opportunity to know them.
