Chef Greg RollinsGraylyn Estate, led by the efforts of Chef Greg Rollins, was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Leadership in Disability-Inclusive Hiring, by the NC Department of Health and Human Resources on October 19, 2021.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is held each October to commemorate the many and varied contributions of people with disabilities to America’s workplaces and economy. NDEAM celebrates America’s workers with disabilities and emphasizes the importance of inclusive policies and practices to ensure that all Americans who want to work can work, and have access to services and support to enable them to do so.

The theme for 2021, “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion,” reflects the importance of ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to employment and community involvement during the national recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rollins and the Graylyn Estate staff prioritize inclusion in a way that exemplifies Wake Forest’s Pro Humanitate motto.
