Charles Talbert, former professor of religion, passes away

We are saddened to announce that Charles Talbert, former professor of religion, died on Nov. 21. He taught in the Department of Religion at Wake Forest University for 33 years, from 1963 to 1996.

Professor Talbert’s obituary is available here. There will be a memorial service Saturday, January 29 at noon at Vogler Funeral & Cremations. The service will livestreamed at https://view.oneroomstreaming.com.

We extend our condolences to Professor Talbert’s family and friends, as well as those at Wake Forest who had the opportunity to know him.
