COVID-19 Update: Lifting Some Campus Restrictions

Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

The following message will be sent to undergraduate students later tonight announcing plans to begin lifting restrictions necessitated by the surge in positive COVID-19 cases. If our situation and public health indicators remain stable, we are cautiously optimistic that the University may return to Yellow Operating Status by mid-March.

Updates to campus operations include the reopening of campus facilities and resuming student activities. Classes that changed modalities in the last few weeks are encouraged to return to the originally planned method of delivery. Faculty should contact their department chair with questions or concerns regarding their class modality.

Your quick and compassionate response to the unpredictable landscape of this pandemic is greatly appreciated. We continue to be grateful for your resilience and dedication to the University. Thank you for being the exemplification of Pro Humanitate.

With gratitude,
