A weather-related message for Reynolda Campus faculty and staff

A message from Communications and External Relations

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. Snow, possibly beginning as rain, will spread over the warning area late tonight through Friday midday, then continue through Friday evening. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to stay alert to weather forecasts.

Due to the potential for snow and ice accumulation, travel conditions on Friday may be difficult. University employees should use their best judgment when deciding whether to come to campus. If you are scheduled to work from campus and are concerned about traveling, contact your supervisor.

Given the potential for a combination of wet snow accumulation with surface temperatures near and just above freezing, localized power outages are possible.

The Reynolda Campus will continue operating under normal conditions; however, some services may adjust hours of operations based on weather conditions.
