The next Staff Advisory Council (SAC) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Staff will receive an emailed link to the Zoom Webinar the day before each meeting. October meeting topics and speakers are listed below.

Newsletter highlights

  • As a reminder, Wake Forest University is offering free flu shots to all faculty, staff and retirees through Oct. 19.
  • Annual benefits enrollment for 2021 will open Oct. 19 through 31.
  • The Wake Forest University Intercultural Center is offering iLab workshops virtually this semester. The Center will host a virtual iLab lunch and learn on Oct. 26, titled “Racial Battle Fatigue: Developing Coping Strategies and Supporting Others.” Realizing Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (RIDE) striving for inclusive excellence workshops are offered throughout the semester.
  • The Face to Face Speaker Forum will host a virtual conversation between Pulitzer Prize-winning columnists Peggy Noonan and Eugene Robinson on Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The Office of Civic and Community Engagement, Office of Wellbeing and other departments and groups are offering a wide range of additional events and virtual engagement opportunities for faculty and staff.
