Wake Forest to launch Face to Face Speaker Forum

This fall, Wake Forest University will launch a signature speaker forum called the Face to Face Speaker Forum. This community-facing series will bring world-renowned, influential voices to Winston-Salem to discuss topics in a variety of areas including politics, arts and culture, business and social justice.

The inaugural Face to Face Speaker Forum season will include:

  • Former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright (1997-2001)  and Colin Powell (2001-2005) on September 1, 2020;
  • Cellist, cultural ambassador and U.N. Messenger of Peace Yo Yo Ma on October 14, 2020; and
  • Journalist and author of “Talking to Strangers,” “Blink” and “Outliers” Malcolm Gladwell on January 26, 2021

All events will be held at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Season subscriptions to all three keynote events may be purchased online through the Face to Face Speaker Forum website beginning Thursday, March 5 at 10 a.m. Single event ticket sales will be available closer to each event, subject to availability.

A portion of the proceeds from the program will help support scholarships for Wake Forest students.
