Frank Tupper, founding member of School of Divinity, passes away

We are saddened to share the news that Frank Tupper, Distinguished Professor of Divinity Emeritus, passed away on Feb. 28.

Dr. Tupper joined Wake Forest’s faculty in 1997 as a founding member of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity.  He retired from the Divinity School in 2016.

We grieve Dr. Tupper’s death and extend our condolences to his family, friends and those at Wake Forest who had the pleasure of working with him.

A memorial service will be held next week in Louisville, Kentucky. Details are not available at this time. When a service is announced, information will be provided on this website.
