For November, we welcome Wake Forest student, filmmaker, humanitarian, and entrepreneur Wubetu Shimelash. As an entrepreneur, Wubetu Shimelash is the Co-Founder and CEO of Simien Eco Trek (http://www.simienecotrek.com), a company that provides convenient, efficient and unique tour services in Ethiopia for tourists around the world while empowering locals. As a conscious filmmaker, Wubetu Shimelash has produced, directed, and shot several films that demonstrate unique cultural values and perspectives. Please join us as we screen this personal narrative film, The Gebara Boy. The Gebara Boy is his first personal narrative film that demonstrates his lifestyle growing up as a shepherd boy in the Simien mountains of Ethiopia and his journey to the USA.
