The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area. A tornado watch means tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area.
The current NWS watch is in effect until 11 p.m.

In the event of a tornado warning, Wake Forest will use the Wake Alert emergency notification system to communicate with students, faculty, and staff. An announcement would be posted on the Wake Alert website and the University’s home page at wfu.edu; sent by text, email and voice mail; and posted on the @WakeAlert Twitter and Facebook accounts.
