Final day to enroll for benefits, elect Flexible Spending Account approaching

Please note a few important benefit-related events taking place this week:

Enrollment for 2020 Benefits:

The final day to enroll for benefits or to elect a Flexible Spending Account for the 2020 plan year is this Thursday, October 31. You may enroll by accessing your Workday inbox, using the Workday mobile app, or during one of the enrollment assistance sessions. You will need to enroll if you are changing benefit elections, adding or removing a dependent(s), and/or planning to participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). FSA elections do not automatically renew from one year to the next, and require active enrollment from you each plan year.

Biometric Screenings:

October 31 also is the last day to complete the steps to earn the $150 Wellbeing Incentive.  Biometric screenings end October 29.

Flu Shots:

Free flu shots for faculty, staff, and retirees continue through this Wednesday, October 30. Spouses and dependent children (who are at least eight years old) who are enrolled in the University’s BlueCross BlueShield medical plan, also may receive a free flu shot.
