Annual benefits enrollment takes place Oct. 21-31

Human Resources distributed the following email to faculty and staff on Oct. 21:

Annual Benefits Enrollment for benefits-eligible faculty and staff takes place Oct. 21 through October 31. You will need to enroll for 2020 benefits if you are changing benefits elections, adding or removing a dependent(s), and/or planning to participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). FSA elections do not automatically renew from one year to the next, and require active enrollment from you each plan year. You may enroll by accessing your Workday inbox, using the Workday mobile app, or during one of the enrollment assistance sessions.

New Benefits Offerings for 2020:

1. Telehealth through MDLive
2. Voluntary Whole Life Insurance Plan with a Long-Term Care Rider through Unum (call 877. 819.0508 with questions)
3. Student Debt Counseling Program through Fiducius

Benefits Fairs: Visit with benefits providers, receive giveaways, and enroll for benefits on-site! The fairs will take place:

• Reynolda Campus / Sutton Center: Tuesday, October 22 from Noon to 4 p.m. Employees of the Year will be recognized at 2 p.m., during the Fair.
• Charlotte Center / Room 107: Thursday, October 24 from Noon to 2:00 p.m.

Wake Forest offers free flu shots for faculty, staff, and retirees, and additional biometric screenings/mini-health coaching sessions for eligible faculty and staff enrolled in the Wake Forest medical plan who are participating in the 2019 wellbeing incentive.
