A paper written by Michael D. Gross, associate professor of engineering, and two Olin College of Engineering faculty members has been presented the 2018 Best Diversity Paper Award by the Educational Research and Methods Division of the American Society for Engineering Education.

The paper’s title is “Gender, Motivation, and Pedagogy in the STEM Classroom: A Quantitative Characterization.” It was published in the Proceedings of the American Society for Engineering Education 2018 Annual Meeting.

The award was presented at the American Society for Engineering Education Annual Conference.

Other authors of the paper include Jonathan D. Stolk and Yevgeniya V. Zastavker of Olin College.
