University telephone services to be disrupted on night of March 8

Information Systems emailed students, faculty and staff with this message on March 6:

On Thursday, March 8, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., Information Systems will perform emergency maintenance on the campus telephone system.

What you need to know

For approximately 15 minutes, starting at 8 p.m.:

• All University telephone services will be unavailable.
• No voicemail may be left or retrieved for campus phone extensions.
• Voicemail will NOT queue for later delivery.
• No existing voicemail messages will be lost.

After the 15-minute outage, there may be brief interruptions in telephone and voicemail services while maintenance continues until 11 p.m.

To contact the University Police Department during this maintenance timeframe, call 336-759-0443 from a cell phone or off-campus phone.
