Traffic is expected to be heavier than usual on Aug. 11 in the area of BB&T Field and other nearby Wake Forest facilities due to a concert to be held that night at the football stadium.  Wake Forest staff, faculty and others not attending the event may want to avoid driving in that area starting that afternoon, according to University staff working with the concert.

A concert featuring rock band Guns N’ Roses is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11.  Parking lots are expected to begin filling with concertgoers in the afternoon.  Numerous parking areas are being used for the concert, including those at and near BB&T Field and LJVM Coliseum.

Tens of thousands of concertgoers are expected to attend.
