Griffin Bennetti

Dear Wake Forest Students, Faculty and Staff,

I am saddened to inform you that Griffin Bennetti, a junior from Moorpark, California, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 10, at his home in California. Griffin was a physics major and a history minor.

We extend our condolences to Rich and Maureen Bennetti (his parents), family, and fellow students, as well as faculty and staff who knew him. His passing is a loss for the entire Wake Forest community. May Griffin’s family and friends find comfort and support as they grieve his loss and remember his life.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at The Village Church, 24802 Alderbrook Drive, Santa Clarita, California. A campus memorial service is expected to be held in the fall.

Each of us is affected by loss in different ways, and there is no right way to grieve. I encourage you to take care of yourselves and your fellow Deacs during this difficult time.
