Starting May 17, work will begin to repave a long stretch of Wake Forest Road. The estimated completion date for the project is May 26.
The repaving will take place on Wake Forest Road from Poteat Residence Hall to the rear area of Scales Fine Arts Center, near Allen Easley Street.
Roads will remain open during repaving, but traffic delays will occur. Flagmen will be present, directing traffic.
Drivers may want to take alternate routes, when possible.
Specifically, the repaving will be in the area of the following buildings: Poteat Residence Hall, Huffman Residence Hall, Wingate Hall, Efird Residence Hall, Taylor Residence Hall, Davis Residence Hall, Z. Smith Reynolds Library, Olin Physical Laboratory, Salem Hall and Scales Fine Arts Center (front and back).
