On Sunday, May 25 between 12:01 and 6 a.m., access to the Internet from Wake Forest’s computing network will be unavailable in order for the University’s Internet Service Provider, NCREN, to perform required maintenance. Below is a summary of the impact to email and Web pages during the outage.
Email:
On-campus WFU Google mail users will not be able to access their email using the WFU computing network. On-campus WFU Google mail users will be able to access their email using a non-WFU computing connection.
Off-campus WFU Google mail users will be able to access their email using a non-WFU campus computing connection.
No new email messages will be delivered or lost during the outage.
Web Pages:
On-campus users will be able to access the University’s Web pages using the WFU computing network.
Off-campus users will not be able to access the University’s Web pages.
