wakenshakeWake ‘N Shake, WFU’s 12-hour dance marathon benefiting the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund, brings the campus community together to support those affected by cancer. The ninth annual Wake ‘N Shake will be held on March 22 from noon-midnight in Reynolds Gym.

This year’s theme is “Superheroes” and more than 1,075 students have registered.

The event is open to the entire campus community — faculty, staff and students. It’s an occasion to fight a disease that has touched each of us in some way. Please consider the following options to join and make a difference in the fight against cancer:

  • Register to participate on March 22 (more details available here)
  • Support a student participant by donating to him/her
  • Donate to the cause in general though the regular donation portal
  • Write a note of encouragement to a specific student participant, all of the student participants from your department, or the entire student body
