Nominations due for the Building the Dream award

Each year, representatives from Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State universities form a joint Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. programming committee. Annually, the “Building the Dream” award to one professor or administrator and one student from each university.

This award will be given to a person who embodies the qualities King epitomized and actively exercises these qualities in his or her community (on and off campus). The award will be announced at the ceremonial banquet on Jan. 20, 2014, at Winston-Salem State.
